Mostly for my amusement, I am posting some random English Journal entries from 2002. This one is about “class assignments” and what I feel is a perfect classroom. Nothing has been edited from the original.

Topic: Class Assignments

First thing, we should make everyday the party
atmosphere. We don’t need the drugs, the sex,
and the alcohol but we do need the
loud music and flashing lights. We should
have one special day of the week when we
dress as hamburgers or hot dogs. It
will be known as Hibachi Day. Then we
should write compositions on our favorite
cereal, fast food, brand of hot chocolate, and
which type of olive we like better, green or black.
